Bio

Cristina is a Fulbright scholar and PhD student in the Energy and Resources from UC Berkeley. As a Graduate Student Researcher in the Electricity Markets and Policy Department at LBNL, she works on quantitative approaches to understand the value and the distribution of residential solar technology. As a PhD student, she studies inequities in urban energy transitions, focusing on household electrification and solar adoption policies. She holds a Dual Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering in Universidad Politécnica de Valencia and École Centrale Paris. Prior to her graduate studies, Cristina worked as a mechanical engineer in the Danish Technical University’s Wind Energy Department, and on PV development projects at the Spanish energy utility Iberdrola.
