Bio
Nihan Karali is an Eng/Env Policy Researcher III at the Sustainable Energy & Environmental Systems (SEES) Department at Berkeley Lab. Her current research interests include the circular economy, resource/mineral availability, near-zero emissions production systems, and low carbon energy, where she focuses on designing technically feasible, cost effective, and sustainable decarbonization pathways for various sectors.
Her recent research has included analysis of climate change impacts of heavy industry and the cooling sectors. She holds a PhD degree in Industrial Engineering from the Bogazici University in Turkey.
