Camilla Dunham leads energy efficiency standards (EES) for dishwashers, microwave ovens, and room air conditioners. Dunham also leads water demand and efficiency research for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Dunham has published her research on energy use and water demand in the residential and commercial sectors. Her current research interests in water and energy use include: the investigation of conditions necessary to conduct a regular water demand survey on a national level to inform regional and national policy; the energy use interactions between space conditioning appliances and other household equipment; and mapping existing regional and national datasets together to more accurately portray energy and water use, (Heuristic Analyses -- Geographically Grounded Information Sets (HAGGIS)).
