Junhong Liu

Junhong Liu is currently a Postdoc researcher in the Energy Markets & Policy Department within the Energy Technologies Area, LBNL. He obtained the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong in August 2024. Prior to that, he obtained the M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from Tsinghua University, and the Bachelor degree in Energy and Power Engineering from Huazhong University of Science & Technology. Additionally, he was a visiting Ph.D. researcher at Imperial College London from August 2023 to January 2024. His research focuses on the energy trading and markets, multi-energy systems, and distributed optimization algorithms/machine learning methods.
