Margaret Pigman is a Senior Scientific Engineering Associate in Electricity Markets & Policy at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. She conducts energy efficiency research and technical assistance projects in the areas of policy, program design, implementation, and evaluation.
Prior to joining LBNL, Margaret was a Technical Consultant at Resource Refocus LLC specializing in data analysis and building energy modeling for energy efficient, zero net energy, and low carbon projects. Her wide-ranging projects included analysis of multiple years of utility billing data from thousands of houses to parametric energy modeling for building codes to detailed analysis of single buildings. Margaret holds a Master of Science in Architecture from the Building Science Group at UC Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Williams College.
