Integrated Distribution System Planning Workshop, New Mexico PRC

Abstract

Berkeley Lab organized a workshop on integrated distribution planning on September 28, 2023, for the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission. The Commission requested the workshop to assist with its inquiry into the potential promulgation of a comprehensive grid modernization rule, pursuant to the state's Energy Grid Modernization Roadmap statute, including consideration of integrated distribution planning.

On July 9, 2024, Berkeley Lab organized a workshop for the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission on transportation electrification planning in the context of grid modernization and distribution system planning. Sean Morash, Energy Systems Integration Group, presented on grid planning for vehicle electrification. Hanna Terwilliger, Minnesota Public Utility Commission, presented on the state's regulatory requirements to file a Transportation Electrification Plan as part of the Integrated Distribution Plan.
