Dev Millstein

Dev Millstein

Dev Millstein is a Staff Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Dr. Millstein leads research on emerging technical and policy issues in the electric power sector, with a focus on renewable energy (wind, solar, and geothermal) and the challenges that arise with integrating these resources into the electricity sector. Dev leads portfolios of research in three core areas: (1) renewable energy market value and impacts, (2) electric transmission value and market analysis, (3) meteorological modeling for resource assessment and market integration studies. Dev received a B.A. in economics from Vassar College in 2002. His doctoral work focused on evaluating the air quality impacts of diesel emission controls and he received his PhD in Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley in 2009.
