Natalie Frick

Natalie Mims Frick is the Department Leader and an Energy Policy Researcher in the Energy Markets and Planning Department at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab). She leads and manages research and technical assistance on a variety of topics, including solutions to large load growth, distribution system planning, energy affordability, energy efficiency, and other distributed energy resources programs and policies. Current research she is performing focuses on large load electricity tariffs and state actions to address large load growth. Before joining the lab, Natalie was a consultant on demand-side management regulatory proceedings across the country. Previously, she was the Energy Efficiency Director at the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy and a Senior Consultant at Rocky Mountain Institute. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Studies in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School.
