Nihan Karali

Nihan Karali is a researcher in the Sustainable Energy & Environmental Systems (SEES) Department at Berkeley Lab. Her research focuses on technologies and systems that enable abundant energy solutions and promote material circularity across sectors including cooling, plastic production, and other heavy industries. She specializes in designing pathways that are technically feasible, cost-effective, and non-polluting.

Nihan's work has been featured in various media and numerous publications. She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering.
