Robert Hosbach

Robert Hosbach is a Staff Data Scientist in the Energy Efficiency Studies (EES) Department at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Robert's areas of expertise include energy use analyses, life-cycle cost analyses, and test procedure development for energy-consuming products in the context of energy policies (particularly lighting products, ceiling fans, and refrigerators); statistical modeling; and data analysis.

Prior to joining the EES Department in 2014, Robert worked in various capacities at Humboldt State University's Schatz Energy Research Center. His work there focused on product testing and test method and policy development for Lighting Global, a World Bank Group project supporting sustainable growth of the international off-grid solar energy market.
