Bio

Xuan Jiang is a graduate student researcher in the Energy Analysis and Environmental Impacts Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Currently, his research focuses on micro-mobility and electrical vehicles management. Jiang holds a Master of Science degree in transportation engineering from the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley), and Bachelor of Science degree in transportation engineering from Tongji University in Shanghai. Jiang is currently pursuing a PhD degree in transportation engineering at UC Berkeley.

Before joining the Energy Technologies Area, Jiang was a graduate student instructor at UC Berkeley and completed internships at the China Ocean Shipping Company and Eastrong International Logistics in Shanghai. He has expertise in modeling transportation and logistics flows, including a traffic flow simulation for Shanghai Lujiazui Financial District and data dashboards for shipping applications.
